1. Service Definition
Zainformatics provides computational biology services, including genomic sequencing, transcriptomic analysis, and custom bioinformatics pipeline development. All services are performed on a contract basis for research and clinical purposes.
2. Data Ownership & Sovereignty
Client biological data and resulting research findings remain the sole property of the Client. Zainformatics claims no ownership over raw data uploaded to our clusters or the final interpreted results provided to the Client.
3. Intellectual Property
While research findings belong to the Client, all proprietary algorithms, software code, and custom pipeline architectures developed by Zainformatics remain the intellectual property of Zainformatics unless otherwise specified in a signed Master Service Agreement (MSA).
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit. However, Clients are responsible for ensuring that the transmission of sensitive biological data complies with their local institutional review board (IRB) or governing health authority regulations.
